Nagpur 11: Air Mshl VK Garg AVSM, VSM, AOC-in-C inaugurated the Tiranga Health Camp for the local villagers at Ghorad Village near Nagpur. The Health Camp offered various OPDs like Eye, ENT, Cancer check-up, skin, dental and general medicine. IAF doctors led by Air Vice Mshl Avinash Das also conduced preventive lab tests. Over 700 locals from near by Villages were given preventive check-ups and specialist consultations free of cost in addition to free medicines.
Prior to the start of camp, Mrs Ritu Garg, President AFFWA (Regional) distributed nutrition kits, stationery and books to underprivileged children. School girls of Ghorad Village tied Rakhi to AOC-in-C and Air Warriors of HQ MC.
The villagers led by Sarpanch Sh Mangesh Gotmare expressed their gratitude to IAF for reaching out to them and providing free medical services with specialist for health and well being of locals. Ghorad Village was adopted by HQ MC in 2023.
