Nagpur :- Students from Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) schools enthusiastically engaged in hands-on activities, creating colourful Akash Kandils (lanterns), decorative items, and Toraṇs (door hangings) for the Diwali festival. This vocational experience, organized as part of the NMC’s ‘Swachh Diwali, Shubh Diwali’ campaign, created a festive and joyful atmosphere among the students.

Under the directions of NMC Commissioner and Administrator, Dr. Abhijeet Chaudhari, and under the guidance of Additional Commissioner Smt. Vaishnavi B., and the leadership of Education Officer Sadhana Sayam, various Diwali-themed programs were organized for the students.

A vocational experience (Kāryānubhav) camp was conducted at the Gandhi Nagar Hindi Primary School and the Netaji Nagar Market Hindi Secondary School, where students created various useful household decorations. Teachers also educated the students about the significance of the Diwali festival.
