New Delhi :- The National Academy of Defence Production (NADP) has been conferred the prestigious award for “Strong Industry Connect & Student Centric Initiative”, based on the IIRF 2025 national survey conducted by the IIRF Centre for Institutional Research (ICIR). The award was presented at the 8th Annual Industry-Academia Conclave held at Le Méridien, Janpath, New Delhi, in the presence of over 200 eminent leaders from academia and industry, including Directors of IITs, IIMs, and Vice-Chancellors from across India.
This recognition marks a defining moment in NADP’s journey as a national institution committed to defence capacity building and techno-managerial excellence. NADP’s flagship PGDM (Business Management) program, mentored by IIM Indore, has achieved 100% internship placements with leading organizations across sectors. These include top names in Defence & Aerospace such as Larsen & Toubro (PES), TATA Advanced Systems Ltd., Jindal Defence Systems Pvt. Ltd., Bharat Forge, KPMG Aerospace & Defence, and L\&T Precision Engineering Systems; in FMCG with ITC Limited; in Consulting with KPMG Aerospace & Defence; in Banking & Finance with Indian Bank; and in Agriculture, Dairy, Food Processing, and Finance with Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Saras Dairy, Jeevan Mushroom, KRG Consultants, and Finsckool. NADP’s governance structure includes senior leaders from Munitions India Limited, Mahindra and Mahindra Limited, and L\&T Defence, ensuring strategic alignment with national defence priorities. Its industry connect is further reinforced through a wide network of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with premier institutions such as IIM Visakhapatnam, IIM Nagpur (INFED), IIM Indore, IIIT Nagpur, VNIT Nagpur, DIAT Pune, NADT Nagpur, Ramdeobaba University, IBS Hyderabad, MILIT Pune, Military College of Material Management Jabalpur, Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), SMMCA Nagpur, Tetrahedron Manufacturing Services Noida, IIPA New Delhi, Eudoxia Research University USA, and SAMVAW Foundation. The Academy’s student-centric initiatives reflect a deep commitment to holistic development.
