Nagpur :- Nagpur Smart and Sustainable City Development Corporation Limited organized a POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Awareness and Compliance Training Workshop for its employees to promote a safe and respectful workplace. The programme was held at the Nagpur Smart City Office. The session was conducted by Company Secretary Ms. Deepti Khandelwal Joshi, a certified POSH trainer, who explained the subject in a very clear and comprehensive manner.
During the workshop, Joshi covered various important aspects of POSH, including real-life situations, patterns of harassment, do’s and don’ts, legal provisions, guidelines, penalties, and the rights of the complainant, helping employees understand the subject thoroughly.
Additional Municipal Commissioner and CEO, NSSCDCL, Vasumana Pant, (IAS), welcomed the speaker and emphasized the importance of creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace.
The workshop was attended by members of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) of NSSCDCL including CS Bhanupriya Thakur, Presiding Officer; Dr. Sheel Ghule, General Manager, E-Governance Cell; and Dr. Pranita Umredkar as Members. Manish Soni, Public Relations Officer; Rahul Pande, Chief Planning Officer; Om Prakash Lande, along with other staff members, were also present.
