– National Unity Pledge given to staff, officers
Mumbai :- Raj Bhavan Officers and staff offered floral tributes to the portrait of the late Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of India Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on the occasion of his 150th birth anniversary at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on Fri (31 Oct).
Secretary to the Governor Dr Prashant Narnaware offered floral tributes to the portrait of Sardar Patel and also read out the National Unity Pledge to the staff and officers of Raj Bhavan on the occasion, which is commemorated as ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’.
Floral tributes were also offered to the portrait of former Prime Minister of India late Indira Gandhi on her 41st death anniversary. The death anniversary of Smt Indira Gandhi is observed as ‘Rashtriya Sankalp Diwas’
Comptroller of the Governor’s Households Dr Nishikant Deshpande, staff and officers of Raj Bhavan were present.
