Reaction on Union Budget 2026

Nagpur :- The Union Budget 2026 is a strong and forward-looking step towards strengthening Atmanirbhar Bharat and promoting manufacturing-led growth. The ₹10,000 crore MSME Growth Fund, mega textile parks, National Fibre Scheme, and initiatives like Samarth 2.0 will provide a significant boost to textiles, sports goods, and other labour-intensive industries, leading to higher employment generation and stronger exports.
Measures such as mandating TReDS, promoting invoice discounting, liquidity support, and equity funding for MSMEs will go a long way in addressing working capital challenges faced by small and medium enterprises. Further, the involvement of ICAI and other professional institutes in designing training and capacity-building programs for MSME dealers will enhance compliance, quality, and overall competitiveness of the sector.
Union Budget 2026 has given a strong push to tourism and hospitality by announcing the development of 50 world-class tourist destinations and granting infrastructure status to hotels in these destinations. Improved rail, waterways, and seaplane connectivity will significantly enhance access to emerging tourist regions.
The focus on medical, wellness, heritage, and adventure tourism will open new growth avenues for the hospitality sector, especially in Tier-2 cities like Nagpur  and Tier-3 cities . These measures will boost investment, generate employment, and strengthen India’s position as a global tourism hub.Overall, this Budget is poised to be a game-changer for MSMEs, textiles, and export-oriented sectors, and will help strengthen India’s position as a global manufacturing hub
