Nagpur :- Cadets of NCC Nagpur Group have brought laurels to the city and the state by winning top honours at the prestigious All India Thal Sainik Camp (AITSC) held at DG NCC Camp, Delhi Cantt.
The All India Thal Sainik Camp is the most prestigious camp of the Army Wing where top cadets from all 17 Directorates across the country compete in various competitions including Firing, Health & Hygiene, Obstacle Training and Map Reading.
The medal winners from Nagpur Group are:
1. SUO Sana Iqbal – Gold Medal (1st Position) – Health & Hygiene (H&H) Competition
2. Cdt Prathamesh Chaurasiya – Gold Medal (1st Position) Service Shooting (Overall) and Bronze Medal (3rd Position) Service Shooting (Snap Shooting)
3. Cdt Vaibhav Prithviraj Sakhare – Silver Medal (2nd Position) – Service Shooting
4. Sgt Kartik Shahu – Silver Medal (2nd Position) – Service Shooting
Group Captain Khushal Vyas, Group Commander, NCC Group Nagpur congratulated all the winners and their proud parents and said, “It is a great moment of pride and honour for the cadets, parents, their institutions and the NCC Nagpur Group as a whole.
