Nagpur :- City youth Agrim Rajendra Falke has been selected for the National Defence Academy (NDA), securing an All India Rank of 258. He cleared the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview at Dehradun and has been recommended for the Indian Air Force (Flying Branch).
A sports enthusiast, Agrim actively played basketball for his school and also served as the Sports Captain. He completed his 10th grade from Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Trimurti Nagar,Nagpur. Thereafter, he was groomed and trained by Tejas Patil of Yashotej Academy, Pune.
Agrim described the achievement as a proud moment for himself and his family. “This is the second generation of our family to don the military uniform and serve the nation. My father served in the ATC unit of the IAF. Growing up in a disciplined atmosphere, I was always inspired by him and the uniform he wore. His guidance and motivation played a vital role in my decision to join the forces,” he said.
His mother, Principal at Madangopal Agrawal High School, Sitabuldi, Nagpur, expressed immense pride in his accomplishment. His elder sister, a Professor of English at The Pantheon Sorbonne University, Paris, constantly motivated Agrim to fulfill his dream.
“We are proud that Agrim has been recommended for the IAF Flying Branch. Every parent dreams that their children achieve more than what they did. Today, both our children have chosen their dream paths, and we wish them greater success in the future,” said Rajendra Falke.
