NMC-OCW urges consumers to update their KYC for better communication

Nagpur :- As part of our continuous effort to provide consumers with a better experience and ensure hassle-free, one-touch services, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation and Orange City Water (NMC–OCW) have initiated a drive to update consumer records.

NMC–OCW has appealed to all water consumers to ensure that their mobile numbers are correctly updated in the OCW system. Consumers whose mobile numbers are outdated, missing, or who are not receiving regular updates from OCW are requested to update their details at the earliest.

To update your phone number, please follow these simple steps:

1. Scan the QR code or visit ocwindia.com/kyc

2. Enter your CAN (Consumer Account Number) – your registered consumer name will be fetched automatically.

3. Enter the new phone number you wish to update.

4. Capture a live photo of your water meter.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions carefully for accurate photo capture.

6. Preview and click ‘Submit’ to complete the process.

7. If needed, click ‘Go Back’ to retake the photo.

This initiative will help ensure that consumers receive timely updates about billing, water supply schedules, and service-related information directly on their registered mobile numbers.
