Nagpur :- NMC and OCW are set to launch a citywide Water Meter Replacement Drive on a large scale. The initiative aims to replace non-functional, and old water meters across Nagpur.
Under the drive, water meters identified as “Not Readable,” “Out of Order,” “Stopped,” will be replaced. Also, the unmetered water connections will be installed with a water meter. By installing water meters, consumers will have better peace of mind.
Free Service for All Consumers
NMC-OCW meter replacement drive will be carried out on the basis of direct payment and / or free of cost as applicable. Consumers are appealed not to make any payment to OCW field staff and if payable the same is needed to be done at the Zone office only.. Citizens are advised to verify the identity of field staff and report any irregularities immediately.

This will also support efficient water management and conservation across the city.
The consumers will receive advance intimation about the replacement activity through WhatsApp or SMS well in advance. Citizens are requested to cooperate and provide access to their premises for smooth implementation of the drive. Also, the citizens who wish to update their mobile number should complete the KYC on priority basis.
