Nagpur :- In a stirring display of patriotism and musical excellence, the Air Force Band of Headquarters Maintenance Command delivered a captivating performance to commemorate 80th Independence Day. The event, held at the Kavivarya Suresh Bhat Auditorium, Nagpur, drew a large audience and served as a vibrant tribute to the nation’s sovereignty and spirit.
The performance featured a diverse repertoire, blending traditional military music with contemporary patriotic melodies. The precision and synchronization of the band members underscored the discipline and dedication of the personnel, leaving the audience enthralled by the powerful acoustics and emotive renditions of national classics.

The highlights of the event were the renditions of Maa Tujhe Salam, Jai Ho, Bharat Humko and Lehra Do, culminating in National Anthem, which saw the entire assembly stand in solemn pride, marking a poignant conclusion to the festivities.
During the event Air Marshal Yalla Umesh, VSM, PhD, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Maintenance Command felicitated the special guest for the evening, Padma Shri Dr Vilas Dangre. The audience comprised families of martyrs from the uniformed services, civil dignitaries, school children and large number of residents of Nagpur showcasing the robust civil military engagement within the region.

This performance is part of the wider celebrations organized by Indian Air Force to foster community engagement and honour the historic significance of Independence Day.
