• 1,200 Students Participated in the Drive
NAGPUR :- While the work on Phase-II of Maha Metro Nagpur is being executed on all the four directions of the city, simultaneous efforts are also being taken to create awareness among the citizens on issues related to road safety. This was one of the most prominent features even during the execution of Phase-I of Nagpur Metro.
As part of this campaign, a Road Safety Awareness Program was organized at Nehru Vidyalaya, Hingna, as part of its continued commitment to social responsibility. The initiative focused on educating students about essential road safety practices, including safe road-crossing techniques, proper use of pedestrian crossings, and understanding traffic signs.

A special dedicated path was demarcated for pedestrians, with students urged to use such pathways. They were also encouraged to seek assistance from traffic marshals for safe passage, particularly around metro construction zones. The session was conducted under the effective guidance of the school administration and project Safety team of Maha-Metro.
The program saw enthusiastic participation from nearly 1,200 students, fostering a strong culture of road safety awareness among the youth. The campaign was in association with Kalpataru Projects International Ltd.
