Nagpur :- In an impressive Passing out parade held at Chunni Lal Parade Ground of National Cadet Corps Officers Training Academy, Kamptee, Maharashtra on 01 Aug 2026, 553 Cadet Training Officers (CTOs) of National Cadet Corps (NCC) Junior Division passed out of the Academy on completion of training. The Passing out Parade was reviewed by Maj Gen Sarabjit Singh Bakshi, SM, VSM Commandant NCC Officers Training Academy, Kamptee.
92 Third Officers, 411 Army Cadet Training Officers and 50 Naval Cadet Training Officers of 17 Directorates of NCC marched smartly to the martial tunes played by the Military Band of Guards Regimental Centre, Kamptee.

The parade by Cadet Training Officers representing all states and union territories of India epitomized “Unity and Discipline”, the motto of National Cadet Corps. On successful completion of this course the Cadet Training Officers received their NCC commission and became proud Associate NCC Officers (ANOs). The ANOs were awarded a Diploma in “Trainers of NCC & Leadership Skills” by the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University.
The Parade was commanded by Academy Under Officer TO Moirangthem Tondon Singh. Amongst Army CTOs, the winner of the Commandant’s Gold Medal and Director General’s Baton for standing first in the order of merit was CTO Ravi Singh, while CTO BiIrinchi Borgohain & TO Manmohan Sharma won the Silver & Bronze Medals respectively. Amongst Naval trainees the winner of the Commandant’s Gold Medal and Director General’s Baton for standing first in the order of merit was CTO Jaisurya Sharma, while CTO Narayanaswamy & CTO Rabbani Chauhan won the Silver & Bronze Medals respectively. The Director General’s Banner for Inter-Company Championship was won by Arjun Company.
The passing out parade was the successful culmination of 60 days of rigorous training which included Drill, Physical Training, Yoga, Leadership & Personality Development, Community Development and Disaster Management classes with an aim to empower the CTOs to conduct NCC cadet’s training efficiently in their respective units. The event was witnessed by senior officers, dignitaries and the family members of the trainees.
The Reviewing Officer in his address urged the passing out course to uphold the aims and objectives of NCC and contribute towards effective Nation Building by shaping young minds and moulding the NCC cadets to become responsible and dynamic citizens of our country. He complimented the passing out course for the high standards of Drill displayed by them. He also appreciated the ‘Team OTA’ for the conduct of training in an outstanding manner.
