Nagpur :- Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies (SCMS), Nagpur, a constituent of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), inaugurated Anugram 2026, the induction programme for the incoming batch of BBA Honours/Honours with Research students, marking the beginning of their academic journey with the institution.
The inaugural session was graced by distinguished guests from the corporate and media sectors. Sridhar Aranala, Chief S&D Officer, The Hindu Group, attended as the Chief Guest, while Akansha Gandotra, Global Employer Branding & Communications Professional at Axi Technologies, was the Guest of Honour.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Sameer Pingle, Director, SCMS Nagpur, who warmly welcomed the students, parents, faculty members, and distinguished guests. In his address, Dr. Pingle highlighted the institute’s commitment to academic excellence, industry engagement, experiential learning, and holistic development. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour shared valuable insights on leadership, career readiness, professional excellence, and the evolving expectations of the corporate world. They encouraged students to embrace continuous learning, develop a global outlook, and make the most of the opportunities offered by the BBA programme at SCMS Nagpur to become future-ready business professionals.
The inaugural ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Utkal Khandelwal, Deputy Director, SCMS Nagpur.
Anugam 2026 will continue until 28 July 2026, featuring a series of interactive sessions on leadership, academic excellence, professional development, institutional orientation, and student life. The programme also includes an industry visit, providing students with an early opportunity to gain practical exposure to real-world business environments and bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry practice.
