Nagpur,28 : The Symbiosis Centre for Skill Development (SCSD), Nagpur successfully organized a Free Guest Lecture on “Basics of Design” on Saturday, 26th July 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the SCSD Campus. The event witnessed an overwhelming response, with SCSD students and external participants attending the session with great enthusiasm.
The keynote speaker for the session was Mr. Bhavik Mehta, Founder and Creative Director of Thinkin’ Birds Communications Pvt. Ltd., fondly known in the industry as The Brand Chief. Mr. Mehta, an acclaimed creative entrepreneur, shared valuable insights on the fundamentals of design, branding, and creative strategy. His inspiring journey—from working as a commerce lecturer to founding one of India’s leading branding agencies—was a highlight of the event, deeply motivating all participants, especially aspiring designers and creative professionals.
As a gesture of gratitude and appreciation, Dr. Jaiprakash Paliwal, Director of SCSD, presented a token of love and recognition to Mr. Bhavik Mehta on behalf of the institution. The session was also graced by the presence of Mr. Raju Wankhede, Visiting Faculty.
The session focused on building a foundational understanding of design thinking, visual communication, and emerging trends in branding.
