– Maha Governor administers Sadbhavana Day Pledge to staff, officers
Mumbai :- Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma offered floral tributes to the portrait of former Prime Minister of India late Rajiv Gandhi on the occasion of his 82nd birth anniversary at Maharashtra Lok Bhavan.
The Governor also administered the ‘Sadbhavana Day Pledge’ to the officers and staff of Lok Bhavan on the occasion.

The birth anniversary of late Rajiv Gandhi is observed as ‘Sadbhavana Diwas’.
The Sadbhavana Day Pledge calls upon the people ‘to work for the emotional oneness and harmony of all the people of India regardless of caste, creed, region, religion or language’ and to ‘resolve all differences through dialogue and constitutional means without resorting to violence’.
Secretary to the Governor Dr. Prashant Narnaware, Comptroller of the Governor’s Households Dr. Nishikant Deshpande, staff and officers of Lok Bhavan and State police also paid tributes to late Rajiv Gandhi on the occasion.
