Nagpur :- Shri Binzani City College (Autonomous), Nagpur, organized the District Eco SDG Championship 2025 on September 15, focusing on the theme Set up Eco Bricks, Vertical Gardens and Clay Cooling. The program aimed at promoting sustainable practices aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The event was coordinated by Asst. Prof. Monali G. Parmar. Dr. Shrikant Shende and Dr. Sanjay Choudhari serving as chief coordinators. A self-help group team comprising Rozmin Sheikh, Ravi Matre, Oruj Khan, Tanishk Mate, Shubham Sharma, Mahek Sheikh, Samruddhi Lonare, and Guari Sitkare worked diligently to ensure its success.
Under the guidance of Principal Dr. Sujit G. Metre, the championship showcased practical demonstrations of eco bricks, vertical gardens, and clay cooling systems as innovative, eco-friendly solutions to environmental challenges.
Nagpur Shikshan Mandal dignitaries President Mohitji Shah, Vice President Vikasji Binzani, and Secretary Adv. Rajiv Deo applauded the initiative and appreciated the efforts of the organizers for encouraging green practices among students and the wider community.
The program concluded with a strong message on the importance of sustainable development and the role of youth in creating a greener future.
