Planned Water Supply Shutdowns on 21st July 2025 for Essential Maintenance Works on Riffle Line & Pench-I LT Feeder…

Nagpur, 19:  Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC), & Orange City Water (OCW), has scheduled a 12-hour shutdown on the Riffle Line on Monday, 21st July 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, to carry out essential maintenance and infrastructure work.

Work Scheduled During the Shutdown:

Shifting of 250 mm dia. pipeline at RTO Nallah near Bole Petrol Pump Square by the NHAI vendor. Affected Areas: Ghatate Layout, Vasantrao Naik Slum, Maharaj Bagh Area, Patrakar Colony, MHADA Colony, Bhole Petrol Pump Area, Adivasi Bhawan, Giripeth

Additionally, OCW & NMC have planned 24 Hrs. shutdown of Pench 1 LT feeder on 21-07-2025 from 10:00 am to 10:00 am on 22-07-2025. During the shutdown, the leakage repair work on 600 mm dia. Pench 1 LT discharge line at Gorewada WTP premises will be carried out.

Gorewada GSR CA – Gorewada village (basti), Gorewada water works quarters, Netaji society, Madhav nagar, Darshana society, Ganga nagar, Ekta nagar, Iqora school, Natraj society, Mahakali nagar, Zakir layout, Hamid nagar, Sudarshan nagar, Ujjawal nagar, Nasheman, Sanjivini nagar, Khan society, Christian society, Kolba swami and maharana 1 & 2 nagar, Prakash nagar, mabambleshwari society, Govind lawn and rajtower, Shiv nagar, Kale layout, Ingole layout, Green field society, Raj tower area, Ganpati nagar, Siddique nagar, Babu nagar, M.B. town 3

2. Gorewada ESR CA – Dhoe layout, Purushottam super bazar area, Malewar layout, Radhan krishna nagar, Adarsh nagar, Baba farid nagar, Gayatri nagar (part), Shri krishna nagar, Khole layout, Welcome society, Netaji society, Rashtra sant nagar, Jai durga, Avishkar society, Thakre ITI road, Sparsh hospital back side, Ashirwad school, Moti krishna society, Anna baba nagar, Rathi layout, Zingabai takli basti, Mata nagar.

Citizens residing in the affected areas are requested to store adequate water in advance and extend their cooperation during the shutdown period. These works are essential to ensure improved and uninterrupted water supply in the future.
