Nagpur :- From the sixteenth century till the twenty first century, William Shakespeare has lent more words and phrases than any other writer would have and English would always be indebted to his contribution opined that Dr. Kapil Singhel, Joint Director Department of Higher Education Jalgaon Division during his address on the eve of 462nd Birth Anniversary of the ‘Bard of Avon’ William Shakespeare and the English Language Day organized by Language and Literature Society (Language Laboratory) on 25th April, 2026 at Orange City College of Social Work, Nagpur. He said that the contribution of William Shakespeare has enriched the language. Dr. Mahendrakumar Meshram, Principal, Orange City College of Social Work, Nagpur stated that the work of William Shakespeare is a landmark in the field of English Literature that no one can bypassed. Prof. Kalpana Mukunde, Coordinator, IQAC, Orange City College of Social Work, Nagpur graced the program.
During the program Dias felicitated Ayusha Kowachi MSW Second Semester for the Essay Competition organized during Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Samaajik Samta Week. The program was coordinated by Ayusha Kowachi, MSW Second Semester. The recitation of the Preamble of the Constitution of India was made by Dr. Shalini Tore and the Vote of Thanks was proposed by Dr. Sulok Raghuwanshi, Coordinator, Language and Literature Society (Language Laboratory) The program could be successfully concluded with the untiring efforts of Dr. Vyankati Nagargoje, Coordinator, Language and Literature Society (Language Laboratory), Mangalprasad Rahangdale, Office Superintendent, Rajendra Zod, Dhiraj Rotele, Anita Chatur and all the members of the teaching and non-teaching faculties and Chakradhar Thakre, and all the students. The program concluded with the National Anthem.
