Nagpur :- NMC & OCW have planned 8 Hour shutdown of the Riffle feeder line on 17-08-2026 (Monday) from 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM.
The shutdown is undertaken to execute the 700 × 500 mm diameter I/C work on a new pipeline with the existing pipeline at S.H. MBR location.
Supply to the following areas will be affected:
MLA hostel, 160 tenament, Railway quarter, Ravi bhavan, Rameti guest house, Gawalipura, Dharampeth 9 galli, Ambedkar nagar, Gadga basti, Ghatate layout, Ramdaspeth, Kachipura, Giripeth, Gorepeth, Vasantrao naik, Patrakar Shah Nivas, Mhada colony, Maharaj bagh area, Gaulipura, Dharampeth.
NMC – OCW appeals to citizens residing in the affected areas to store adequate water in advance and cooperate during the shutdown period.
