Nagpur :- A major leakage was observed on the 600 mm diameter Amrut Kalamna–Wanjra feeder main near Aman Nagar, Wanjra, on the afternoon of October 16 due to the third party damage. NMC–OCW will carry out an emergency shutdown and immediate repair work.
Due to the severity of the leakage, water supply during the morning and evening periods may be affected in the following areas until repairs are completed:
*1. Kalamna NIT ESR CA:
Chitrashala Nagar, Annapurna Nagar, Mahalaxmi Nagar, Adarsh Nagar, Kalimata Nagar, Datta Nagar, Tulsi Nagar, Balaji Nagar, Nagraj Nagar, New Ganesh Nagar, Narmada Nagar, Kalamna Wasti, Labhlaxmi Nagar and Vajpayee Nagar.
*2. Amrut Kalamna* – *Wanjra CA:
Parvati Nagar, New Ganesh Nagar, Aajri Majri, Devi Nagar, Nimdevi Nagar, Bamleshwari Nagar and New Laxmi Nagar.
Citizens in the affected areas are requested to cooperate and use water judiciously during the shutdown period.
