Nagpur 27 – In a remarkable demonstration of commitment and alertness, Alok Kumar Jha, Head Ticket Examiner (HD TE), Nagpur, achieved the highest single-day revenue through ticket checking, recovering a total amount of ₹1,72,320/- from 220 irregular passengers.
Jha was on squad duty today aboard Train No. 03251 (Danapur – SMVT Special) between Itarsi and Nagpur. During the course of duty, he took strict and effective action against passengers found traveling without tickets and those occupying reserved sleeper class coaches with general class tickets.
His diligent efforts ensured strict adherence to railway rules, promoted rightful ticketing behavior, and contributed significantly to passenger revenue. This achievement highlights the critical role of ticket checking staff in curbing ticketless travel and upholding the integrity of the railway system.
