Nagpur :- The Inner Wheel Club of Nagpur celebrated International Friendship Day with great enthusiasm and warmth under the leadership of President Pooja Saoji.
Speaking on the occasion, President Pooja Saoji said that Inner Wheel is founded on the principles of friendship and selfless service to society, and encouraged every member to uphold these values through their activities and service.
The celebration was held after the Club’s General Body Meeting (GBM), with 45 members participating enthusiastically. Members exchanged colourful friendship bands, strengthening the spirit of friendship and unity within the club.
The highlight of the programme was a Poetry Recitation Competition on the theme of friendship. Bharti Pande won the First Prize, Jyotsna Bajare secured the Second Prize, and Dr vandana Baraskar received the Third Prize. Consolation prizes were awarded to Pratibha Kulkarni and Neeta Punyani
The entire programme was organised by the Club ISO, Anshu Shukla, who also generously sponsored all the prizes for the competition. Her efforts played a significant role in making the celebration a memorable and successful event.
