Nagpur :- In a spectacular moment for India’s defence education landscape, National Academy of Defence Production (NADP), Nagpur has been awarded the prestigious Innovative Education Program of the Year at the Maharashtra Visionary Summit 2025, hosted at Radisson Blue, Mumbai as part of the Times Aspire – Global Connect program. This honour celebrates NADP’s flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Business Management) [PGDM (BM)], the nation’s first program designed to forge future leaders for India’s strategic sectors. PGDM Program was declared as the Innovative Education Program of the Year, and the award was conferred by Sarah Arfeen Khan and Arfeen Khan.

Launched in 2023 under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, NADP’s fully residential, AICTE-approved two-year PGDM (BM) program stands out for its rigorous blend of management sciences and defence production expertise. Developed in mentorship with IIM Indore, the curriculum uniquely weaves cutting-edge technology, global business acumen, and sector-specific knowledge, ensuring students are future-ready in a rapidly evolving world of defence, manufacturing, and technology. Students benefit from academic collaborations with Harvard Business Publishing and the Capacity Building Commission. NADP’s PGDM journey is holistic and immersive. Leadership development is nurtured through Toastmasters Club, Sahas outbound camps, and NLP workshops, while emotional intelligence is honed via psychometric assessments and Sahaj Yoga. The program’s Innovation Cell and inFED, IIMN incubator facilitate multiple patents and entrepreneurial ventures. Global exposure comes through collaborations with Eudoxia Research University, USA, and industry events like Global Nexus 2025.
