Nagpur :- As part of the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan 2026, being conducted from 09 Aug to 17 August 2026, NCC Group Headquarters Nagpur has undertaken a series of patriotic and awareness-oriented activities across its Area of Responsibility (AOR) with enthusiastic participation of NCC Cadets, All Staff, NCC Alumni and local citizens.
The campaign aims to strengthen the spirit of patriotism and encourage citizens, particularly the youth, to develop a deeper sense of pride and respect for the National Flag. Various NCC Units under NCC Group Headquarters Nagpur have disseminated the campaign among affiliated schools, colleges and institutions and actively involved cadets and the local community in the celebrations.
As part of the campaign, National Flag hoisting ceremonies, Tiranga marches, awareness campaigns, patriotic activities and selfie drives with the National Flag were organised at prominent and iconic locations. NCC Cadets actively participated in these activities and spread the message of “Har Ghar Tiranga” through social media platforms using the hashtag #HarGharTiranga.
The campaign also witnessed active participation of NCC Alumni and local citizens, thereby fostering a strong sense of national unity and collective responsibility towards the National Flag. The National Anthem and Vande Mataram were rendered during major events, further adding to the patriotic fervour.
The NCC cadets also actively participated in the Anti-TB Campaign to spread awareness and support the goal of a TB-free India. During the campaign, cadets organized rallies, street plays, poster-making, and door-to-door visits in nearby villages and schools to educate people about the symptoms, prevention, and treatment of tuberculosis. They highlighted the importance of early diagnosis, completing the full course of medication, proper nutrition, and breaking the stigma around TB patients. Through their discipline and community spirit, NCC cadets helped encourage people to get tested and seek free treatment under the National TB Elimination Programme, making a real impact at the grassroots level.
Through these activities, NCC Group Headquarters Nagpur continues to inspire NCC Cadets and the community to uphold the values of patriotism, unity and national pride and to make the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan 2026 a meaningful and people-centric national campaign.
