And the significant task of keeping this lifeline dynamic, of performing their duty often in the most arduous conditions, is undertaken by the company’s female employees—the very ‘Saudaminis’ (lightning/women who bring light). To offer a humble, emotional salute to their work, MSEDCL has launched the deeply touching and inspirational initiative, ‘Sanman Saudaminincha’ (Honouring the Saudaminis).
This was not merely an awards distribution ceremony; it was the gratitude of a family towards its important members.
Heartwarming Honour for Nagpur’s ‘Saudaminis’
On Monday (Sept 29), a special event, ‘Sanman Saudaminincha’, was organised for all female employees working under the Civil Lines Division at the Small Training Center, City Circle, Nagpur. The attendance of a total of 59 female employees was noteworthy, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and warmth in the hall.
As a mark of respect for the relentless hard work and loyalty of all these participating women, they were gratefully honoured with a rose flower and an inspirational book. The book honours their knowledge and intellect, while the rose flower salutes their delicate yet strong personality and tireless efforts.
A Story of Struggle, Dedication, and Success:
The moment after the felicitation ceremony was even more emotional and inspiring. Selected women graced the stage to narrate their experiences while serving at MSEDCL.
These seven ‘Saudaminis’—including four technical staff, one High-Level Clerk (HR), one Assistant Accountant, and one Deputy Executive Engineer—spoke candidly about the challenges they faced while working at MSEDCL, the successes they achieved, and their unwavering dedication to the organisation. Listening to their stories brought tears to many eyes. They were not just detailing workplace difficulties, but articulating their daily struggle to balance domestic responsibilities with external duty and the victory they gained from that conflict. Their voices conveyed confidence, tenacity, and a sense of satisfaction.
The presence of Dhammadip Fulzele, Executive Engineer, Civil Lines Division, Kunal Gajbhiye, Manager (HR), City Circle, and all Additional Executive Engineers and office staff under the Civil Lines Division provided official and emotional support to the ceremony.
The program concluded in a joyous and positive atmosphere, wholeheartedly celebrating the women’s enthusiasm, strength, and vital contribution at the workplace. Confidence was expressed that the success of these ‘Saudaminis’ will undoubtedly accelerate the company’s progress!
