Nagpur :- Renovatio Foundation, in partnership with R Sandesh Group, organised a large-scale tree plantation drive at the SRPF campus in Nagpur with the support and guidance of Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC). A total of 3,000 trees, each over six feet tall, were planted as part of the initiative.
The plantation is part of the organisations’ larger commitment to plant 10,000 trees this year. Renovatio Foundation has been undertaking plantation initiatives with R Sandesh Group for the past several years, with a commitment to plant at least 10,000 trees every year.
The initiative focuses not only on plantation but also on the long-term survival of the trees. All planted trees have been geotagged for monitoring, while drip irrigation will ensure their regular watering and maintenance.
The programme was graced by Ganesh Rathod, Deputy Commissioner, Garden Department, NMC, and Amol Chorpagar, Tree Conservator, NMC, along with officers and personnel of the State Reserve Police Force.
As part of the initiative, Renovatio Foundation’s Nakul Agrawal conducted a session for hundreds of SRPF personnel on breathing techniques, meditation and mudras to help manage stress, anxiety, overthinking, exhaustion and other mental-emotional challenges. The session was well received and deeply appreciated by the participating personnel.
Nakul Agrawal and Shraddha Agrawal represented Renovatio Foundation, while Nikunj Agrawal and Dr. Nitin Agrawal represented R Sandesh Group.
The organisations will continue their efforts towards completing the 10,000-tree target this year, with a focus on both plantation and the long-term survival of the trees.
