Nagpur 07 : On the sacred occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi, a vibrant celebration took place at Late Kamaltai Dawande School and Junior College (KDS), filled with devotion, tradition, and values. The students participated in a spiritual “Vari” procession, dressed as little Warkaris, echoing chants of “Vitthala Vitthala,” symbolizing faith and unity. The atmosphere resonated with devotion and cultural pride.
The celebration included storytelling sessions highlighting the life of Lord Vitthal, Sant Tukaram, and Sant Dnyaneshwar, teaching children about love, truth, and moral living. A touching moment of the event was when a student confidently narrated the Bhagavad Gita shlok -“Na Me Bhaktah Pranashyati”, conveying Lord Krishna’s assurance that true devotion is always protected. Under the school’s annual theme“Sanskar Setu”, KDS continues its mission to combine academic learning with strong moral and cultural education.
